A New Adventure!!

I have enjoyed reading so many beautiful cross stitch blogs that I FINALLY decided to have my own!  This is very new to me, and I'm not really sure what I'm doing--I've even tried to do it before, and just couldn't get it right!  Maybe this time things will be different and everything will fall into place!  I sure hope so, and I hope you'll enjoy my blogging efforts!

I collect Prairie Schooler charts--my favorite--but I'm a fan of many designers.  I've loved cross stitch for many years, and my big project is making ornaments to go on a year-round tree.  I make ornaments for various holidays and seasons, and I'm always trying to stitch more to add to my growing collection.
Above is a photo of my St. Patrick's Day tree.  I'm working on the Easter tree right now, and will post a photo when that's completed, so please check back!

A few close-ups of my St. Patrick's cross stitch ornaments:

A precious freebie--adapted from Sylvia's (syku66 blog)!

Another little freebie, with buttons and shamrock ribbon!

A Prairie Schooler favorite from "Prairie Year Rounds"!

A darling online freebie from Plum Street Samplers!

Another freebie cutie from Feathers in the Nest!

Just to further introduce myself, I'm also a musician--pianist/organist--and am currently studying to get my masters degree in music!  (yes, I'm definitely the oldest one in class, but I love it!)

Thank you for visiting and I hope you'll enjoy coming back soon!

Frances
